Lambrecht Chevrolet, owned and operated for 50 years by Ray and Mildred
Lambrecht, closed its doors in 1996, sealing up a treasure trove of
survivor cars. The Lambrechts, now in their 90s, held onto customer
trade-ins and purchased outdated inventory to make room for new models.
The extensive Lambrecht collection of survivor cars – including many
with fewer than 10 miles on the odometer –
will be auctioned this weekend near Omaha.
