On my first vacation day, I decided to tackle some of the loose ends on the Chevelle. First thing was to look into why there were no reverse lights. After a bit of troubleshooting with the test light, I determined that the switch on the steering column was not working. I removed it, took it apart, and found a contact was stuck. So after a few minutes, and one new bulb, we now have it working.
I then decided while I was in the trunk to make a set of panels up to finish it off. I picked up some 1/4" MDF and black felt, a trunk jamb switch and LED light, and the results are pictured below...
